2011/2012 Youth Indoor Registration

Developmental Programs are available for players born in 2008/2009. 

Players born between 1994 and 2007 are eligible to register for the 2011/2012 RSA Indoor League!

Why play soccer with the Regina Soccer Association?

· Play indoors in the winter in Regina’s premiere indoor soccer facility, the Credit Union EventPlex, on artificial turf! 

· All teams, U8 to U18, are gender specific.  (Under 6 teams may be co-ed)

· Club sponsored technical direction creates a controlled and structured learning  environment

· Players advance under the principals of the Long Term Athletic Development model of the Canadian Soccer Association

· Qualified and certified referees ensure safe levels of play

· Progressive, professional league  administration and management

· Coaches must attain and maintain their  coaching skills certification under the  Saskatchewan Soccer Association licensing programs

· Coaches and Administrators must pass CPIC (Canadian Police Information Centre) certification· Liability Insurance protection 

And most importantly… To stay healthy, have fun and for the love of the game!

Registration

You can still register for the Indoor Season! 

Players registering after October 13th are considered late registrants and will need to register by calling the RSA Office at 352-8040. 

U8 – U10 late registrants will play within their home zone if there is room. 

U12 – U18 late registrants will be required to go through the placement process.  The process may take 5 business days.  Questions regarding placement can be directed to Louise Sumner at louise@reginasoccer.com  

Club System

The RSA has divided the city into zones, and youth players are registered with the club in which they reside.

AC Football Club (Red) · Northwest Zone· http://www.acfutbol.ca/

League Play

Indoor runs from mid October until March (with the exception of Under 6 and Under 8 ending early February).  Under 6 and Under 8 teams play approximately 8 games per season and practice weekly.  Under 10 to Under 18 teams play 10 to 14 games a season and may attend tournaments.  Practices depend on the team, but are usually twice weekly.
